We had an 5.4 earthquake tonight. Shook the whole RV, as it would. Kids were having a bath in a tub on the kitchen floor. I thought something had run into us there was a bang and a shudder like when Le hitches the truck on ... Le and I looked at each other and both said - was that an earthquake? Neither of us has been in an earthquake before.
The neighbors next door came over to check we were ok. We had talked to them only a few days ago about never having felt an earthquake, I guess we spoke too soon. Le has been stressing big time about driving north in the middle of winter. The snow has definately come, so there is no avoiding that. But now - possibly even worse - is the rain has come too and their is major flooding all through Washington state. They have closed one part of the I5 for 20miles because it is 3ft under water!!!!
Not good. Our visa expires Feb 2 so we have to be out. We have a few more warranty repairs to be done next week, and we want to be on the road by Thursday - but there are backlogs of traffic, 1000's of trucks cant get through. It potentially is going to be very difficult.
I hope we get good weather. I will have to go check the 10 day forecast again.
