We left LA friday afternoon. we just camped in a rest area on friday night, then we arrived at Dos Reis campground yesterday morning. We stayed here for March last year when we visited pete and sharon in San Fran on the weekends. So we have some fond memories (le an I anyway).
We have to be out of the US by Feb 2, we are going to stay at Fort Langley in Vancouver. The snow there is gone and the weather is back to normal winter again - above freezing overnight. So we are booking in their a month - maybe two - while OK falls warms up. Our friends Jim and Louise live in North Vancouver which is about an 1hr away, but we couldnt get into any parks closer to them - they wont allow children over winter??
Anyway, we left a little impromptu. After the camper got repaired on friday arvo, we decided to just hit the road instead of go back to the campground for one more night. We overnighted in a rest area, and got to Dos Reis campground in good time for the kids to play all day on the playground and play soccer in the field behind our camper.
Gotta go get ready to go. This is our last campground for a few days so i am making the most of it.
