I was searching for things to do in Vancouver when i came across this website - http://www.kidsclubfunandfitness.com It's this awesome center (well looks good on their website) for madi and denny. we thought if we are staying put for a month or two we could get them some different lessons - this place seems to have a bit of everything, gymnastics, dance, swimming, music and a giant jungle playarea.
I couldn't find on google maps where exactly it was in Vancouver, so i sent the address to my good friend louise to figure out for me. She quickly emailed back, it was Vancouver Washington - not in Canada at all! Shoot! I was quite dissapointed, but luck would have it we had to travel straight through Vancouver, Washington on the way to Vancouver BC.
As we have got through the dreaded passes, (2000+ ft, 3000+ ft, 4000+ ft) we decided we would campground (Vancouver RV park - $29 a night) for a day (and night) and spend the day at the Kids Club. It only cost $6 each kid, and we stayed for about 5 hours. Long enough to wear out denver, but madi even as I type this is still awake! They were in the middle of constructing an new area - so parts of the jungle play area were closed off. And sadly the ballpit was closed. But there were still 5 slides, and the kids did them more times than I can count. The kids had fun, but - we won't stay a second day. We found a similar play center in Vancouver (BC) last time, so we will keep making our way towards Vancouver BC before the weather turns bad.
