We are collecting pins from places we go for the kids (although the thrill of the hunt seems to have the parents addicted) - but there were no Nebraska pins to be found.
We stayed at a campground outside Waco, NE - No not THE WACO - another one. It had a pool. I dont think we have ever used a pool in our travels so that was unique for the kids. It was 3 foot deep so "miss almost 3" could just walk around on her tippee toes and 1 year old son floated around quite confidently in a little floaty ring - looked most relaxed.
So we went swimming a lot - twice a day for 3 days. It is summer here - and we are feeling it. We haved travelled into Iowa today, and are staying at a Resort in Grimes (an unfortunate name) just outside Des Moines. It has 3 pools - so we have availed ourselves of those services too. Did i mention it is over 35c degrees here at the moment!
